Shanghai Science & Technology Museum (2000 Century Ave, Pudong, Shanghai) – this is an important science education and leisure tourism base. It is located in Huamu Administrative and Cultural Center, west of Century Square and close to Century Park. It covers an area of 68,000 square meters, and has a floor space of 98,000 square meters. It is composed of five main exhibition halls, including the Heaven and Earth Hall, the Life Hall, the Wisdom Hall, the Creation Hall and the Future Hall, as well as some temporary halls. There is also an IMAX theater and a 4D cinema.
Admission: RMB 60 (adult); RMB 30 (students); free for seniors, disabled, soldiers and children below 1.3 meters in height. Hours: 9:00 am – 5:15 pm (Tuesday – Sunday)(closed on Monday, except for national holidays).
